Colombia is in a good path in education, but they must improve the quality of education
Even do Colombia has made progress over the last years in
the improvement of the educational program, for no one is a mystery that there
is a lot of more work to do since only 46 of 100 students that enter in the first
grade reach the eleven grade without doing again or quitting any of the courses,
and the 54% of the student that present the “pruebas saber 11” are located in a
low level of knowledge.
Beside this issue there is a lot more, since the public
schools are not well equipped to provide the right type some of tools to
develop a good environment in where the student can learn and realize their assignments
without any problem are books, internet, computers, libraries, calculators,
study kits for the students, and other important fact is food, since a lot of
the students that go to class do not have the economy to get a have a breakfast
before entering school and that affect the process of keeping al learning information
that is useful for their future, the good news is that Colombia is going to
have a new budget of 47,3 billones of Colombian pesos to keep making progress,
because for no one is a secret that an educated nation is a better nation.
